Stylin On U Part 1 (Hip Hop, Soul)

I started making these mixes in late 2007 mainly to be able to express myself creatively and share with people all of the music that has truly inspired me. A big part of it is because of how much the radio and mainstream music has changed for the worst and I wanted to expose the younger generation to what hip hop is really about and the essence of it. I can’t really express in words my appreciation for all of the comments and emails that I’ve received and I just wanted to take this time to sincerely thank all of you for the support in this short amount of time. Music is really a universal language and is a common bond that we all share regardless of where you’re from and what you believe in. So this time around I just decided to go back to why I started this and that’s to be able to just do me and play what I’d like to hear. So here’s more of that raw, not watered down hip hop and soul music for your listening enjoyment. Happy Holidays everybody!! Peace and love.

first thing I peep (who doesn’t?) is the tracklisting/song selection…that’ll tell me what type of steez the DJ is on…my man, you’ve got great taste in music, and it’s a foregone conclusion that your mixes are on hit! Thanks for doing these

good lookin out. i have to agree i think Q-Tip’s album is definitely one of the best albums this year. i like the Death Of Adam album too.

i found u from happy slips videos and i gotta tell ya man that your style is hot. i only heard a few seconds but it instantly gratifying music… stuff you know you can hear again and again without getting sick of it… keep it banging bro!
