Sorry ladies but unless you’re into grimey street hip hop, chances are this mix probably isn’t for you. Good old fashioned boom bap NYC style. To this day I can never get enough of soul samples over classic drum breaks which is the essence of hip hop sound. I can probably make a 10 part series of this mix but i’ll leave that up to all of you to decide. ” Big L rest in peace.”

Awesome job, no Pun?
April 16th, 2009 at 11:05 pm
i plan to give Pun his own shine plus i wanted to keep it like the early to mid 90’s cats well except for the royal flush joint.. but yeah you get the point.

Tru one whole mix for pun is gonna be sick. Ever think of doin like a jazz funk type thing like RH factor who has like Q or Common rapping, or like philidelphia experiment with ?uestlove on the drums.

I haven’t listened to this yet, but I’m sure it will be good. I’m only thirteen years old, and all I’ve listen to is the hip-hop you don’t like. But, thanks to you, I like this old school hip-hop. I’m glad that you are one of the rare people like me who hate Auto-Tune. Everybody needs to listen to good hip-hop, and that’s old school hip-hop.
Thanks DJ Mike Rizzy. (:

Nice. the 2nd verse of Gimme Yours is actually the Gimme Yours Remix produced by Erick Sermon. But much respect for knowing the Royal Flush joint. Slept on classic album.
