Hip Hopped R&B Mix (90’s R&B Mix)
Posted by deejaymikerizzy on November 20th, 2007
To be honest i’m not really a fan of most of the R&B that gets played on the radio these days. I always found that my favorite type of R&B is usually the songs that have real hip hop beats. So I compiled a little mix of joints I used to keep in heavy rotation back in the day. Compare these songs with what you hear today and tell me these don’t sound better. I’ll take any one of these songs over “Shawty Is A Ten.” Feedback appreciated and enjoy.

mad props on this mix…this is what’s called real music. tracks out nowadays arent what they use to be…everything sounds the same with meaningless lyrics. anyways, this takes me back…keep hookin us up w/the ol skool mixes.

i love 90’s R&B! it’s the music i grew up listening to, and sometimes i just like to go back to those days.
you’re right, most of the stuff these days [with a few notable exceptions] isn’t worth listening to/downloading/buying. Love it!
