To keep it short Dilla is one of the main reasons why i do what i do. Everyone from “backpackers,” to even people like Just Blaze, Kanye, and Pharrell all agree that Dilla was a beat god. I’m sure everyone knows his story so i’m not going to write a novel here but if you don’t know who he was just take a listen to this mix. This is definitely hip hop in its purest form. Once again it’s on!! Now everybody has their own opinion of who the best rapper of all time is.  Of course you hear people mention Rakim, Kane, LL, Biggie, Jay, Snoop, Cube, and so on and so on.  But if you ask me and everybody that knows me knows that i’m going to have to go with Nas.  To me there’s just nobody that’s been on top this long and has as many classic songs as the man they call Nasty Nas.  I mean the man beat Jay-Z in his prime in arguably the biggest battle in hip hop history.  He’s been on the top level since Biggie and Pac were around not even Rakim enjoyed a reign that long.  So for this podcast I decided to put together some hot Nas songs that weren’t singles but equally as dope if not better.  This is definitely for my real hip hop heads out there who don’t do the whole “Soulja Boy” kiddie ringtone rap thing.  Peace till the next one.
